Received this picture from Greg Krogh himself and hopefully he meant for me to post the picture here on MM. No info just the picture, but if the "c" before Mule Deer meant Colorado I'm not sure. Greg or Randy can you tell us more? Thanks for the picture, as usual, another great BUCK in velvet.

I would love to visit Randy's trophy room one day.

That guy smiles like it was his first every time.

Congrats to Randy!

WELL!!!

IT SURELY AIN'T NO PISS"C"UTTER!!!

AND IT AIN'T NO "U" BUCK!!!

I HOPE THIS OLE BOY NEVER STARTS HUNTING cats!!!

THATS A DANDY!!!

THE ONLY bobcat WONDERING IF THERE WILL BE ANY LEFT???

Is that a diffrent buck then the one that was posted about a week ago? If so that is two huge bucks already this year.

There have been some hogs taken already this year. From Canada down to Arizona. I thought people were talking about a bad year for antler growth.

I would love to see some of the mounts he has at home. Anyone know who he uses for his taxidermy work?

Congratulations Randy!! Another dandy buck. This buck looks even bigger than the Nevada buck. WOW!!!!

Wow, that is just unbelieveable. I hope for one archery buck like this one and the Nevada buck. Congrats on another amazing deer.

That makes me sick! I'm just jealous. I can't believe how some guy's can kill so many huge bucks and most of us would be lucky to just see one.

These two guys are off the charts. I can't think of any rifle hunters that consistently kill the class of critters that Randy kills with his bow. Freakin amazing!

Holy Crap Batman!

Again I want to ask, this is a different deer than the other one posted earlier correct?

LAST EDITED ON Sep-12-06 AT 07:13AM (MST)[p]I got this photo a couple of days ago from Randy's sister (she used to work where I work), and my jaw still hasn't come up off of the floor! Great job Randy and Greg, once again you guys raise the bar.

Stud of a buck!
That oughta sell a few Hoyts.
Great guide, great hunter, great area.
Expect good stuff when these guys get together.

Outstanding Buck, Randy does it up right again, I wish he would have a contest and let a couple of us hunt with him, LMAO, Those guys are some hunting SOB's that for sure.

I spent a couple of days in a Coues deer camp with Randy. He was a great guy and man can that guy SHOOT a bow!!!

Greg called me right after the buck hit the ground, I wish I could play the voicemail for everybody to hear. The excitement in his voice retelling the story is amazing! These two guys live to hunt together and they are the best team out there. Nobody has any more fun or hunts any harder than Greg and Randy! Randy has killed some magnificent animals and yet his smile keeps getting bigger with every one. I cannot think of a more deserving tandem than these two! They do it the right way. Congrats guys, wish I would have been there with you~

Greg ,Tommy here, what are you guys going to do for an encore this year , its kinda got me excited to see what you have up youre sleave for the elk hunts coming up , congrats on another great buck,

It's freakin' unreal how these two are taking down monster bucks one by one. Great job to both of them!

If there's one thing I love about these guys is their smiles just keep on growing and growing! They seem to hunt for the passion and truly do make quite the team! Wonder if they should start filming their hunts and possibly put together a video. I'd love to watch Greg on one of his stalks to see how he does it!

I can't Frickin believe it the "Amazing Duo" does it again.
Congrats to Randy and know there is more were that came from...it still early in the season.

Where's the blood from the shot on either of these bucks? It seems like you would see an entry/exit hole somewhere in the boiler room area?? Maybe he wipes it down before the picture? Anyone else wonder that?

Actually, the deer is just sleeping. Greg and Randy snuck up to him while he was taking a mid day nap and snapped a few pictures just to see how they would turn out. These guys are that good! Thats why you dont see any blood.

Hell no I have never wondered why you dont see an entrance or exit hole. Everything Randy shoots will be published in any number of magazines and/or advertisements, he takes the time to clean the animals up before taking pictures. I am not even going to start on what makes a good photograph and what doesnt but the vast majority of people that pick these magazines up enjoy seeing the quality of photo that Greg and Randy take. They are very clean and very professional looking pictures.

Just crawled out of the bush after a week of hunting and this is the first thread I clicked on. WOW!!!! These 2 do it again. UNREAL!!! Simply Amazing. Way to go Greg and Randy. You guys are legends in my mind. Hard Core to the Core. Congrats.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-17-06 AT 10:21AM (MST)[p]Hell of a guide to consistently find bucks of this caliber, but you got to give a tremendous amount of credit to a guy sneaking up on a bruiser of this magnitude and close the deal?Good job boy?s

Skeet,

I am not a guide in CO, but if you are interested in finding one, pm me, I met several over labor day weekend while vacationing with my family and Randy's family. I didn't see them in the field, but met them in town while shopping and eating out at night. I don't know much about them other than they were telling me about some bucks they were seeing and taking. I got their phone numbers from them and told them I would send some of my friends their way that were serious about hunting big deer. one of my friends has already contacted them and said they seemed like the real deal. Randy personally spent about three weeks over the summer scouting and I only got to go out with him for a day and half over labor day weekend. I wish I could've gone out more but my family was there and I had to take my girs fishing and the wife sight seeing. I certainly didn't see the kind of deer that these guides were talking about, but they live there and I spent half the three day weekend in town earning brownie points with the wife and family. greg
