Waterbuck....are these bulls from down in the canyon just above Shoshone falls?? I'm actually from twin falls and love to stop by and watch these monsters grow every year. The same guy has the elk farm out in Kimberly and he's got some monsters on there too! Pretty fun to see, if only I could run into a wild one like this with a weapon in hand...

Unfortunately they are. I wish they were from my private hunting spot. I have some cool pics I will post.

As far as I understand the guy raises the elk for meat and to sell the horns to mainly to the orientals because they use them to make medicine. The bulls in these pictures however are more for fun and for competition I believe. I'm pretty sure that he won a bunch of contests last year with one of his bulls that was right at or above 500+ inches. They really are amazing to see

Those are cool pics. Thanks for sharing.

It's also interesting to know they are "high fence" bulls. When people post pics on this site I typically assume they are free range.

Good call on the stinging nettle--I had the misfortune of discovering stinging nettle for the first time last summer. OMG that is some nasty stuff! Thought I accidently put my hand in a hornets nest!
