These are cool pictures. I wish I would have had a better camera with me.

Amazing photos for sure. Sometimes it all comes together and you get to see stuff like this.

LAST EDITED ON Dec-21-10 AT 09:08AM (MST)[p]Here is one of a great bull and his cows on a cliff out on our Wyoming bow hunt last September. He had at least 20" swords and we couldn't get over there after him.

I went to see Shoshone Falls on the Snake River in Southern Idaho, and there they were. A couple of the guys that commented on the other pics said it is a private ranch. You do not see high fences were I was but the cliffs probably take care of that. Even though they are not wild it is spectacular to see, and fun to imagine, what if???

LAST EDITED ON Dec-29-10 AT 02:56PM (MST)[p]Look at TOPGUN's pic. Assume you are in that spot with a rifle. Do you take the shot?

That is a tough one. I would probably have to wait until he moved back from the cliff.

Gentlemen---I've shot a couple across that canyon, but not when they were in that position. He went off that shelf to the right with his cows and he would have been dead if it was rifle season. The bull in this picture is the one my buddy killed a couple miles from there on opening morning of rifle season. He probably scores better that the one on the cliff and was 357"+ on final dry score. This is on public land we hunt every year out in Wyoming.
