Well I finally did it. I ordered my Swarvoski 15x56 this morning, and I shold have them Friday. I can't wait! Like a kid waiting for Christmas...I even get to try them out this weekend helping Allen on another scouting trip. Maybe we'll find those big boys again...

PW: you will not be sorry ever after you spend a day with those 15x's. Now all I hope for is your tripod and bino's both get here before saturday. Ah...your master plan at work...I should have known you were up to something. I got my tripod in yesterday...and the binos will be here eitherFir or Sat...Fed-ex delivers on Sat...so I should be set up for Sunday's scouting expedition.

I ordered some 10x40 Zeiss Classics yesterday for around the neck. Should be it by tommorrow. Hopefully they will come into play for the boys on the first hunt.

Allen your right, I used to be one of those guys saying why spend so much on optics. I borrowed a pair once and saw twice as many animals on the hunt as I usually did. Clear glass very clear choice in buying them after that. I've owned Swarovski, had a pair of Zeiss and now Leicas. I love em! Hope your hutn goes great. I think i will put in for late season whitetail next year. Since I have not been drawn for the past three years i oughta draw something. By the way how does the bonus point sys work for deer, i mean is there a max point allowable till you get drawn for somehting like late whitetail in say 23 24 or 36c? Hmmm

Well ther was a delay with my order and I didn't receive them yet...they say I ahould have them Monday...maybe I should ask for a shipping refund. Oh well...I won't have them for scouting tomorrow, but Allen won't be using his, so I'll have to make sure they still are in appropriate working order for him for his hunt next week. What a pal I am...LOL!

Thanks for the support. Again, yesterday while out scouting with Allen, with those 15's you can see things you'd miss with the 10's. We saw some deer and another nice buck. Probably go mid-80's (3x3). I am so impressed with the quality of Swarovski...I'm glad I took the plunge...plus it's not like I have to buy a new pair every few years...hehe
