LAST EDITED ON Feb-10-11 AT 06:52PM (MST)[p]I am glad this whole ridiculous thing has been put out of everyone's misery...

My buddy called me up during the archery period describing this outlandish Frankenbull he'd seen in the back of a truck at a Silverthorne gas station, and that the guy had told him it was from a private (but NOT high fenced) ranch in NW corner of the state and was somewhere over 400"...

I said bullshiska, there is NO way...damn varmit is off a game farm

Sure enough, a couple weeks later I started getting emails of the stupid thing under some bogus headline about pope & young WR...and people were seeming to just eat it up!

Anyway, read the story about this rather Special character....guy is a frikken imbecile

not one, but TWO of his frollicking Farm Friends entered :)

i think our p & y and b &c records lately are tainted just like sammy sosa , barry bonds, and mark mcguire... we use bags of horn growth feed, steroids, and high fences and have high paid pimps with a dozen guides scowering the earth for months for the " bigest ' of the big. unless it is killed on public lands, with fair chase practices i don't bat a eyelash or give compliment.

I am glad they found out. I thought Colorado had a few more bigger bulls. Per B&C Web site,

"Dating back to 1830, the state of Colorado has produced only five bulls that score over 400 typical." Two elk in two years by the same hunter threw up the red flag...

Ha! I was sure that bull was a farm bull, but haven't seen anything to back it up. Thanks for updating us.

Gotta agree with ya Greatwestern! That guy isn't playing with a full deck, LOL!!! 2 years with bulls over 400" more than raises a red flag!!!

Thanks for "outing" the idiot GW! It is a sad commentary on the sport we all love! Pumped up egos seem more important that ethical pursuit to a few. That gives us all a black eye.

Dating back to 1830, the state of Colorado has produced only five bulls that score over 400 typical. Only one was taken in the last 24 years.
I Like that statement.
Get ready Utah is gonna be in the same boat :D

There should atleast be a fine associated with this kind of fraud!!! Put the money they receive back into the game department for wildlife management. Atleast that way this ##### heads money would be used for the betterment of wildlife.
