Oregon Muley

Shot this 4x4 muley in central oregon 3 days ago on PUBLIC LAND. I saw him walking up an old logging road, shot him at about 150 yards free handed with my leupold scope set on only three power from an early encounter. One 150 grain bullet shot my Ruger 30.06 dropped him in his tracks at 2:00 in the afternoon. He's not reaaly wide but the tallness makes up for it,with 9inch G2 and G3's I'm only 18 and have shot 3 bucks from this unit, this buck being my biggest.

I also being an Oregon hunter for along time can tell you that is great above average size oregon muley. Only a few bucks a year are taken bigger than that. From the pic looks like you already had him gutted?

Hey thanks, ya after I shot him I gutted him out then I got a hold of one of my hunting partners on the walkie talkie and told him to bring the dodge and my camera. Always got to have an in the field picture with your animal.
