Well everything came together for me tonight when I finally connected on the buck I have been chasing for the past month. His tine length isnt all that fantastic but his spread is absolutely incredible - especially for southern Alberta where really wide bucks are few and far between. He scores 171 3/8 with a 31" inside and a 33" outside spread. Sorry for the picture quality but I had to scale the file down so much that it got a bit blurry, and on the other one my buddy kinda cut off part of the deers face..but hey the horns are still in there! lol. 44 yard uphill shot through both lungs and the heart, he made it only 50 yards before it was all over.
