Can you draw first season elk tags in most Colorado units without points? Looking at units 44 & 444.

Last year you had a 25% to draw a first season either sex tag with no preference points. Cow tags are leftover every year.

the DOW website listed Zero as the points needed. Maybe I read it wrong. How do I read it correctly?

That just means that some guys did draw with 0 points... about 25%. The rest had a preference point-Hatrick

If you look on the top of this page, you will see (hunt draw odds) just click on colorado on the map and then type in what unit you want to know. Monster muleys draw odds sheet is much easier to read than cdow. If you click on the unit it will show you how many points it took for the last five years.
