I would not be surprised if there was a reduction of tags on some units, they increased them a lot these last few years, could see the same happening in the reverse direction...

I think we need to turn all the rifle and muzz tags into Archery tags! And then move it into the prime rut. That way we can increase tags and un-cork the bonus point butt plug!

Hell this is Utah
We have only been building the elk herd for 30 years
Lets just open it up to a OTC any bull tag state wide for a year and get rid of em all
Heck it might even help are deer herd out

Major tag cuts. Increased age objectives. Increase the bonus point butt plug to never in your life. Make the whole state LE elk or spike you pick which one you want to hunt. Keep the rifle in the rut. Put the rifle deer hunt in the rut while your at it.

Then sit back and wonder what happend to the quality.

Any one that has any brains can see where the quality went with a 90% success rate weapon in the rut. Anyone with brains can see you cant give out any tags with this stupid mentality.

There is no need for Utah to manage every unit like the the henery mtns LE deer.

If bowhunting was easy rifle hunters would do it...

Get rid of the rifle hunt in the rut and let the "REAL" hunters hunter during the rut, and you know what I mean by that, ARCHERY HUNTERS!!!

Give more archey tags and less rifle tags will help get rid of "YOUR BUTT PLUG" on elk points.

don't say sw buckless has no brains he gets offended very easily.

as a bow hunter who knows alot of other bowhunters
i say give two tags to every bow hunter and maybe they will punch one!

if reading a odds book was easy sw buckless would do it.
