Utahelk1, how many points do you have? I have seven family members with varying points, from 15 down to 3 that put in for the Pahvant muzzle loader hunt. I have a few friends that also put in for the hunt, one with 16 points. I think a lot of people applied for this hunt because the number of applicants from 2010 were down from 2009.

Someone I talked to was putting in with twelve on the roadless. Made me switch to Wasatch muzzle with eleven. Both of us are NR.

Verticalslope I have 16 pts but I put in with a friend who has 14 pts. That should average 15. I think your right a lot of people jumped to that hunt this year. My Uncle put in for Pahvant early with max pts. He should get it.

Going fishing in Alaska in August from a trip I won at last years expo so I put early rifle for the first time because I really prefer not to draw anyway, so I figure if I get really lucky, I might as well put in for a goodin. Sounds sick huh? Does this mean I will draw because I don't really care? I know I won't draw the others. Good luck to you all in the draws.

That's the exact reason I put in for the Henries rifle tag last year with one pt. because I knew I would draw my elk tag and walla I drew the Henries.

I'm doing the exact same thing, I put in for Wasatch early w/ 15 pts, so w/ my 2 points I also put in for the Henrys. I hope I get your luck.

Wasatch archery with not near enough points......but someone has to draw the random tags.

Wife's in for everything in Utah and Nevada so my fingers are crossed. Personally I don't have max points anywhere so with my luck it will be lots of bird hunting this year. After Idaho OTC elk hunt. Started another pup this month in anticipation of a tagless fall. Chukar are in trouble though.
