How good a hunt is this? What cal. of bulls can one expect to see on this hunt? If anyone has pictures please post them.

It can be a good hunt. You should expect to see a lot of bulls in 270-300 range - if you see a 315 or bigger bull you better take it.

I agree with Roy, also there is alot of private that you have to deal with, if your new to the unit it will be a hard hunt.

Lots of elk. Get in shape because about the only way to hunt around the private is to hoof it up the ridges. You'll have a great time.

I like this hunt. As mentioned earlier there is a lot of private land to deal with. Get some topo maps with good access info and you can do well there. Most bulls are in the 300 class range, but some can be really heavy. Saw one 4x6 there that I would have shot given the chance cause his horns were so big around.

Ended up getting this guy about 5 years ago.
