Arizona landowner tags?

No landowner tags in AZ, and the only tranferring is to a youth from his/her parent or grandparent who must be accompany the youth on the hunt.

What exactly is the deal with AZ not having landowner tags or something similar?
That's great if AZ doesn't want them, but I can't believe that landowners aren't pushing for some kind of system. Landowners in other states are making some serious $$$ off of them.
Curious as to how AZ has dodged the ball so far?

Oh they push for them! Im gonna let someone else that can explain it better than me have the floor...
Basically we don't want to be another New Mexico. I am a guide and could stand to benifit from them yet I dont want them. In fact beside a couple of the big names there are very few outfitters that really want them as far as I know.
Our system stinks in the fact you cant get a tag every year but at least the field is somewhat level.

I agree! It's not fun seeing "Not Drawn" when you check the website, but, that makes that Az Tag that much more special...
I'll be scouting for a friend's clents this year...again...almost as much fun as being able to nock an arrow for myself! Good Luck to all

I AGREE LEAVE ARIZONA A LONE......ITS NOT CORRUPT. ON THE OTHER HAND NEW MEXICO LO TAG SYSTEM IS A MESS, I KNOW HUNTERS THAT HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF.....& IT DOES NOT SEEM TO STOP. HAD A NM RESIDENT TRY TO SELL ME A LO TAG......HE HAD 17 ACRES.....CLAIMED THERE WHERE NICE BULLS ON HIS SMALL SPREAD..............YD.
