I spent many years up in 33 running after big bucks. I saw a few bucks that would go 26 inches or better but the hunting is hard if you don't get away from the crowds. If you find the deep deep sand and don't know how you got there or where you are at is a real good place to start! No kidding. The first day or two of each season I hunted up there I drove around and got lost in the middle of no where. So then I would walk up high to see where I was and once I had that figured out I ended up glassing for deer and would usually find a monster right before dark! But like ever other season I could never find the deer the rest of the hunt and ended up hunting old stand by areas. The area that is north of Loco Hills and east of 217 is a good area. If you get off on Booger Langston, Square Lake Rd, and the cap you are sure to see some good bucks. The problem with glassing off the cap down into the sand dunes is if you find one you want to go after it is often hard to get on him. Because once you get in the dunes to go after him, it becomes real easy to get lost on where you last saw him. Well the best of luck up there on your hunt! I hope you find that 30 incher and get the chance to put in the freezer!
