I know its not the best draw but with point creep i'm not waiting for the rest of the cream of the crop to go downhill. If I can find a 350 bull it would be nice but I'm no idiot if I find a 330 ill kill him. Dad had the early tag last year we had fun didn't get the right bull but learned the area and saw enough to take a chance on the late hunt. Any advice, pics will be welcomed.

I don't know that area well enough to help you.
But I will say congratulations on getting a tag!
You're right, a tag in the pocket is better than 2 in the point creep!

You'll have a leg-up since you know the area. Good luck!

Still on my top 3 Utah tags to have for a b&c bull. Give it all you've got and you'll
see some big bulls. Hunt it half assed and it'll hand it right back to you. It's not a road hunt by any stretch.

I've got a buddy with the same tag again and we'll give it 110% with a 350 minimum bar and more than likely he'll keep it at 370 for atleast a few days.

Those bulls would walk onto the wasatch and kick some serious wapati tail!

Been there two years in a row for the same exact tag with two tags each year. We have killed everything rangin from 320-360. The ole lady has same tag last year and got a good bull for her. It was very hard last year and we ended up killing him on the 6th day. Pm me if you would like and we can talk. I know a few places

I had the dutton late tag last year and was able to harvest a really good bull. Send me a PM and I will help you with what information I know.

Here are pictures of my bull. I got him back from the taxidermist about a week ago. He scored right at 370.

You have a great hunt. If you work hard you should have a chance at a great bull.
That is one heck of a good bull and nice mount.

Mount looks great. Need to get mine hung up one of these days.

Super excited about this season. One of my buddies from highschool has a late tag, and another one has a premium tag. We're gonna turn over every stone we can down there looking for some special bulls. Figure the year I had my tag I spent around 30 days on the mountain and feel like we just scratched the furface. Excited to learn some new country!

>Jason, you best not tell me
>that is "Gimp". I'll be
>kick'n myself BAD!

That's one heck of a bull for sure. Not sure rob i would have to see where 1 shot got him to know for sure or not. But i bet Gimp was pushin that.

Nice 1shot that is one of the bigger bulls i seen taken off that mountain last year on the late. It was a tough hunt for sure.

I wouldnt get to excited if there is one mountain in utah that can kick your a$$ its the dutton. Im sure you guys will be fine though congrats on the tags and good luck

Don't listen to Sniper1, he is just a wussy :) That has to be one of the most relaxed, easy to find a toad of a bull units in the state. 360 or bust.
