Any idea what the snow levels are still like on the Wasatch at the 8k-10k elevation. I drew the Wasatch Early as a NR. I live in CO at 8k and we minimal snow till 9-10k. Is it similar levels in Utah?
Also any advice on the Wasatch would be appreciated. We have the area we have hunted spikes, but may need to expand our area a bit in order to find to find two respectable bulls as my bro also drew. We are pumped. 29 points invested.
Thanks for the info.

Still a lot of snow, but the antler growth will be great this year. You got the tag at the right time. After the next couple years the wasatch will never be the same. I will be out there a lot this year, bow hunting for deer. If I see anything good I will let you know.

I'll tell you who it was . . . it was that D@MN Sasquatch!

My cabin is at 6600' and there are only occasional big, wet, deep snow patches. I know a couple elk areas, that we'll be hunting this year, still have too much snow to get a feel for where the animals will be during the hunt.
We'll be up there this weekend but we won't be trying to scout much......yet.

Zeke,
Where is your cabin? We may take a drive on sunday up that way to poke around a bit maybe stop by and see that 53 Shasta;)

The ole '59 Shasta will be at my house not at my cabin. haha

The cabin is in AF canyon. Still lots of snow up there.
