Poll on 5 day vs 9 day hunt

I started a poll on the DWR forums on weather people are for or against putting the southern region 5 day rifle areas back to 9. This is being proposed next week in the Richfield RAC meeting by the DWR. We have come along ways in the last couple of years. Would hate to see it go away so soon. I am curious how other people feel on this issue. If you have time, vote on the poll.

Change it to Nine days. The first five days are any buck. The last four days should be four point or better.

LAST EDITED ON Oct-31-06 AT 06:01AM (MST)[p]Bobcat, that would work great if the units were micro-managed. With the way it is now, you close an area for awhile then when it gets opened back up. Everyone is going to flock to that area and you go back to no deer quick. You would hear stuff like " did you hear that they are going to open up such and such area this year?" "Yea, see ya there dude".

I'm all for closing an area if it is in that bad of shape, but it would have to be limited entry for a few years after it is reopened.
