Scouting Utah Bulls

Took a short hike Saturday morning and found 8 bulls. 5 of them were about this size. I shot the video with my little point and shoot coolpix through my spotting scope. Need to upgrade my tripod I think.

Can't wait til the season opens. Should be a fun time.

What kind of adaptor are you using or are you just holding the camera up to the tripod?

They are in fact snatch bulls.

I do have an adapter set up I put together from the tines up and camera shop post someone suggested a month or so ago. Cost me about $70 i think for both parts. Took me a little bit to get used to and after this trip I think I am finally figuring it out.

Thanks for the info.....and the vid clip. It's cool.
There are a bunch of MMer's who drew that tag. My oldest daughter did as well. My friend's son has an archery tag too. I've only been out twice and headed out this weekend for a couple hikes.

I hunted with an archery tag last year on the unit and I will tell you I learned a ton about elk hunting. This year is about redemption hopefully. Good luck to your daughter and everyone else who drew this year.
