I am here in Nortwest Colorado and they were already in full rut and this morning we woke up to 3 inches of snow. Should be a great hunt for you, which area are you hunting?

Shot my deer Nov 8 in unit 53 as explained in thread below.
We were seeing small signs of rut and one guy at the motel
killed a real big 5x5 he said was chasing does. But as I said
below on wednesday they seemed to really be with the does and
rutting. You should hit them in full swing. Good luck.

I hunted 3rd season southwestern Co. Rut was in full blown and the deer were moving most all day long and on their winter range. My son had the only tag and got a 28 3/4 4x4 on the third day, so you should hit it perfect.

Hunting in 45..but may end up moving to 35, 36 depending on what we see. 15's also on the tag.

got mine in 59 on the 10th, started seeing a lot of chasing starting on the 8th the buck I killed was definately full on...good luck to ya ...should be a great hunt
