Water ?

Elk are a member of the deer family, i know how much water a whitetail needs is very dependant on the moisture in the vegataion. Are elk the same way? Do they need to water every day? Specificly in northern new mexico during October?

They need water rather it be from moisture content in the food or just a plain drink of water!

Bulls during the RUT need water for more than just a drink,they over heat & need to Wallow & Drink to help cool down!

Where I hunt,Critters can find enough water just about any where,so for them to move camp ain't a big deal!

I don't know about Northern NM?

For GAWDS Sakes Guys,We Got Kids on this Site,Some of them are 65 years Old!

I don't care if they're big or small!
If they throw lead I like em all!
