Well i am a elk hunter from Michigan looking to come out for the 2nd rifle season in section 83 and I was wondering if anyone had any information or maybe a better zone that I should try.
I have a good friend who backpack and fly fishes in section 83 quit a bit and says it's teeming with elk. Wonder if he is full of bull or will I have a chance at bagging a descent bull? Also the weather is a concern since I plan on hunting the back country. I am pretty positive I will get snow not sure how much but curious on what I can expect? Average temperature in late October would be good to know too?
