I have a friend who drew a tag for archery elk here. I have hunted this are quite a bit but it has been 10+ years. This is only his second yr hunting, so any ideas or tips you can give me would be much appreciated.

Glass glass glass. Hike your balls off and youll get into em. Hunt as much of the unit as you can some nice bulls down there but alot of lower end bulls as well.

that unit has progressively gotten hard over the yrs. All though there are still good bulls your work is cut out for you. Its deep and steep. id start a training program and get in the best shape u can. hunt hard and youll find something. wish I could point you in a good area. havent been on that land in a few years! want to know if any one knows or has any pict of good bulls taken last year on the nebo unit, trying to see what quality is on the mt.

I've lived on this unit for 34 years,
Seen the rise and fall of elk, was certainly better 6 yrs ago.
Did get lucky last Muzzy hunt with a client on Nebo..
Its tough, BUT Do-able..
My boy and I have looked at close to 200 Nebo elk the last
two days, The best bull we've scean would go may be 315..
Good luck.............................But, it can be done.

hey goofey elk i have quite a few pictures of that bull in the velvet a friend gave me a picture of that bull that you killed,with that client let me know i will get you some of him in the velvet
