Who is hunting archery fish lake bull

I was just wondering who on the forum will be up hunting the fish lake archery bull hunt. I have seen alot of differnt truck off the sides of roads glassing. Just wondering if any of them are guys from the forum.
I dont have a tag,but my son does. It has been a little differnt this year with all of the snow. Hopeing it doesn't push the rut later than usual .

Well... A white four door ford that likes to find the bottom of deep holes

A red polaris,or Cabelas outfitter series boots. It may be a hunting guy thing...but thats how my boys track me on the mountain. They know the soles of my boots.

Travis....I did not know you drew. Good luck man! My Dad drew the rifle tag this year so we will be up again. Just dont follow John around...he likes to get things STUCK!

I decided to burn my points?Hope I don't regret it. Figured I'd let you go find the big boys and then trick you into telling me where they are before I revealed I had a tag! There goes that idea.

In all seriousness we should compare notes, I'm sure we both have some info that could help each other out. Once my hunt is over I could point you to the big bulls I couldn't put an arrow in. That, or we just follow John around and he'll lead us to them!

HAHAHA....you know all I have been able to find up there is small bulls!! We are hoping to redeem ourselves this year! We have been seeing LOTS of elk...so I am hoping it is a better year than last year. It was TOUGH last year!

Just stop by the cabin any time. I wont be up there this weekend, but will be up there pretty much every weekend after. I will share what I know for sure! John...he already has a 390 bull tied to a tree for his boy so that bull is out of the question. We can take his leftovers!

You guys know the same old haunts will be holding bulls...
As long as I have been stalking the Fishlake, it doesn't change a whole lot. I believe timing is pretty much everything up there. I hope all you guys smoke some monsters. There should be some good bulls hitting the ground this year. I think last year carried a lot of bulls thru that should be good bulls this year, especially with all the feed. If you need some help glassing or scouting, give me a shout...I'm always up for a little glassing session!!!

I dont know about tied down, but we have seen a few good bulls this year. They seemed to be spread out alot already. It maybe the cowboys running the cattle up late this year.
With all of the feed and cool wet weather, I hope they start rutting early ?

I have to take the wife on her vacation the last half of August, but I will be back by the end of the month and will get up there and help you all I can. I think that by the 1st of September the bulls should be moving to their old haunts!
I will keep in touch!
