Anybody stand in line for a General PISSCUTTER Bull Tag?

Even in the Basin there were lines of People first thing this AM waiting for a Coveted Tag!

I opted to go back this afternoon,didn't have to wait at all!

I handed them 45.00 & they handed me a piece of paper making me Valid to Hike once again in the land of the Nomad this Fall!

Way to go bobcat I was wondering if you was going to get a tag. There is a bunch of bulls up there right now. Make sure you come up and go hunting with me and Kyle F. Did you get archery or rife.

We didnt stand in line but my wife got a archery elk. I decided to go rifle this year with my brother, dad, bro in law, good friend from st. george.

Yep, timing is everything. I picked up my $50.00 walmart gift card that I won at work, headed over to walmart about an hour ago, handed them my gift card and picked up my any bull tag. Gotta love it when a plan comes together. Now if I can keep up the good luck streak with the elk hunt, I'll be loving life this fall!

I pack em mostly just to get in shape for the Rifle Hunt!

I RAZZ the Feather Flippers just to STIRR em a bit!

They have a way of getting excited real easily!

Can't believe we're to the point of standing in line for a general season ANYTHING. That being said... went and bought my muzzleloader any bull tag about an hour ago. Walked right up to the counter. Guess it will be a good back-up plan in case I don't fill my Wyoming tag.

Bessy I guess we are a few of the " old timers" that remember back when we hunted all three seasons. During the muzzle loader season you could actual wear cold weather clothing. Boy those where the days.

I just realized form this post and after all these years that you guy?s in Utah have OTC tags for Elk?? Seriously?? Your one lucky bunch of people I will tell you that right now. No wonder you put in for LE tags and can wait for years to draw to get a good chance at a big bull. You can hunt elk every friggen year??

If I could go and hunt elk every year with an OTC tag without losing bonus points I sure would. Heck here in Az we have to draw even for a cow tag AND we lose our bonus points if drawn successful!! I was feeling pretty bad for Utah people that hunt elk. Hearing the horror stories of the years it takes to get drawn and such. Now knowing you can hunt elk every year OTC and STILL put in for an LE tag/area you all need to quit gripeing! Or do I have this all wrong?? I know someone will straighten me out on this post!

Ya, we have an otc tag. But a lot of guys go years without seeing an elk on that hunt. While some others get lucky once in a while.
I got mine yesterday morning, I have a bone to pick with a certain tree that jumped in front of my bullet last year. Think I am going to cut it down, I want another piss cutter this year.


I'll tell you who it was . . . it was that D@MN Sasquatch!

I bought mine as well. This will be my first year doing the any bull thing. I got a spike last year. I researched an area that I'm hoping nobody really knows/ thinks about. But, I realize the chances of that are slim to none.

Where can a guy find a map that shows the difference between private property and public land as that has been the issue for me not buying one cause i know alot of good hunting areas are privatly owned in utah.

I got my tag again just got it online. Saved me a trip to Wally world. Last few years have been pretty good we all at least saw bulls last year. Hope I can have a repeat of 2 years ago.
