Some Survivors

I was out trying to get some photos today. The bucks were rutting pretty good even though it is awefully warm. I didn't see anything really big but the one young buck that has the double browtines has a ton of potential. You can tell by his body size and the size of his face he is still extemely young and looks like he will be a good one in a couple of years. I had quite a few bucks come into the rattling horns and I heard one buck fight and just missed getting photos of another. I could here them fighting and headed their way. I rounded a bush and could see them going at it less than 100 yards away. Just as I was setting the camera up the one tucked tail and ran. These guys have to survive one more day and they should be safe until next year.

Awesome pics man! None of those would last long here in Utah.

:( Somebody didn't like bouncing betty :(

Nice job!! I love the size of the neck on these guys. It makes me want to hit the brush today and find some here in Utah.

Wow, Cam. Great snaps. That 4th one down w/the smooth antlers is my favorite. His neck is just massive and his antlers are really pretty.
