Anything out there, I had A tag last year just intrested in this year.

I drew the archery LE Manti this year. I've gotten some good info. so far. Looks like I'll be hunting by Sept.1 How did your hunt go last year?

I live on the west side of the unit
I usually go up twice a week from July to November.
Just to look at the bulls because I cant seem to draw the tag to hunt them.And to also see what deer I can kick up for the general season
Its different up there this year.You cant get down most of the roads I usually take because of mud slides or snow drifts.
Heck they cant even get there sheep on the mountain this year
Its a perfect year to have a archery elk tag.
Because of the roads they haven't got pushed around like they do most years
I think your going to see some good ones come off this year
With the winter kill its going to be a different story tho in about 4-5 years

Had alot of fun. Saw alot of elk. Shot a six point on the last day. The family has a cabin up there, we have hunted spikes for a lot of years and had good times made some good friends.

I also have an archery tag this year. Been down a couple of times. There's some good bulls around - but I'm not as picky as some.
