4th season was rough for me this year.

Granted my hands are not that big but this buck is a older buck (5-6 years old) that has some great mass on his smallish 3 point frame. He also has a great dropper coming off his beam near his left eyeguard. Talk about big bodied! At the processor he hung 195 pounds field dressed!
I saw lots of little bucks (some of which were breeding does) over 4 days and decided to take this one. Never really saw a big buck and it is my conclusion the rut was never really in full swing even during the middle of november!! Yes there is big bucks in the area given the past history of 2 monsters shot the year before on the property I was on as well as the property next to me (218 nontypical and 195 typical gross respectively).
I am happy with him nonetheless.

Hey Jeff -
Congrats! Glad you were able to connect on a buck while you were back in CO. That dropper on the left antler is really unique, I like how it curves out like that. Very cool. The bases sure look pretty hefty too. Hope you had a fun trip, and congrats again on your buck!

Yep I meant to say stop and say hi, Drummond, sorry.
How was your hunt?
Might try and make a sheddin trip in march/april.

Jeff,
