Idaho unit 54 bulls rifle

Does anyone know what to expect out of this unit. Do they migrate to Nevada or back towards Idaho. With presure towards the end of the hunt or weather. Any help I would appreciate Thank You

We've had the tag twice and it's a tough hunt. There are definitely some nice bulls there but they move a Ton once the archery unit starts. Most guys start up in the thoroughbred springs area, the elk are there all summer but when the archery hunt starts they'll be gone. They move quickly towards the nevada border. If you want to find the bigger bulls look in the dessert sage out towards the border. You wouldn't think there would be any elk by the looks of it but that's where they are once the hunt gets going. I ate tag soup holding out for a big one and my little brother shot a 7x8 that scored right around 340
