Scoring "3rd" antlers

My buddy harvested a buck this year that has a 3rd antler, totally seperate from the other 2 antlers. Will it be deducted from the score as a nontypical point, or will it not effect the score at all? We have heard it both ways. Does anyone know how B&C treats this rare point? B&C has not yet contacted him back to let him know, so I was wondering if you guys knew.

FYI...watch the next issue of Hunting Illustrated to see this buck!!

That sucks because this buck would have made the minimum whether the point was deducted or not. Not that it matters but, I forgot to mention the 3rd antler is 4" long, and is only a single point.

I've always wondered about how you would score a third horn.

My dad told me about a buck my grandpa killed in the 50s that was a 10x10x7 with outrageous mass, I guess he gave the horns to some guy from californa, i figure something like this would be Identified fairly easly so if anyone knows anything about a set of horns that look like this please send me a PM. Thanks.
