Started doing taxidermy work last year just asking everyone how did I do? If anyone needs anything done let me know, I should be the best price in town!

looks like you do very nice work , and I would guess you will have your hands full before long .

What state and city will you be working out of ?

A lot better than some of the other "beginners" that have had their stuff posted on here - that's for sure! Not too bad at all. Keep it up.

That is a very cool bull . He has some WOW factor .

I have local Salt Lake guy that I use , but if I ever need another taxi you would be in the running for sure .

Keep up the good work , and feel free to post up another pictures of the mounts you have done .

Great start. That bull looks awesome. From your other work, you seem to have a bright future in taxidermy. Thanks for sharing.

Deer is $400, Antelope $400, Elk $700 closed mouth all shoulder mounts, Deer european $100 on a plaque and elk european on a plaque is $150 Thanks again everyone! I appreciate the comments

If you wanted to go with a pedestal mount like this one above with a close mouth, it would be $100 more and that is with the back wrapped with leather, It looks really nice when it is done, and as far as the base go it just depends on what you want underneath it. If you wanted the same mount above with a open mouth it would be $250 more and that is with the leather on the back too. So a pedestal close mouth=$800. Open mouth pedestal $950

Great looking work! Many "experienced" guys don't do as well. As you probably already know your business will be built on happy customers. Be honest with them, keep them informed on what you are doing - or not doing if there is an issue, keep doing your great taxi work and they will beat a path to your door. It is all word of mouth in the taxi business and bad words seem to spread faster than the good.

Thanks for the advise! Ya thats what made me want to start doing this kind of work, because I've had to many bad experience with other taxidermist. I hate when they can't ever give you an update, or they move on you with out a warning, or tell you it will be 6 months and you don't get a call in-tell 12 months saying it will be a couple more months. So learning from their mistake should help me with keeping customers.

Awesome work man..! Those mounts are great... Honestly, if I get an elk I'll be knockin on your door...

Is it just me, or does that monster elk have really tiny ears...?? :D

Jess,

I hope to have an elk mounted this year. What's your price for a shoulder mount and how do I get a hold of you?
