I heard there was a Monster 6x8 - 400 plus bull killed on the San Juan has anyone seen pics of this bull or can confirm ..

A friend of mine is on the unit and is bow hunting and left me a message he had HEARD FROM SOME OF THE GUYS HE MET ON THE UNIT THERE WAS A 6X8 HARVESTED AND HE WAS 400 PLUS THATS ALL I KNOW.

must be just a rumor, I have asked every local outfitter down here that is on the mountain 24/7 and they haven't seen or heard of anything. If it is true lest see some pics.

said the bulls are bugling and some already have a few cows

he missed a 350 plus bull at 50 yards and was sick about it , also said he hadnt heard anything else about the 400 inch bull that was said to be shot ....

I heard someone killed a 400 incher in Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, California, Washington, Oregon, Texas, Kentucky, West Virginia, Galapagos and North Dakota in all areas. I'll start posting new threads.

my buddy on the San Juan called me just now and said they were rippen this morning ( hard to believe this early its gonna be a great rut it sounds like)..

Figured out the rumor, they are just hearing about the snake bull that was killed last year during the archery hunt. There has not been a 400 bull killed this year. When posting rumors try to get the real story, or atleast have pictures.

Heard a few bulls this morning but nothing this afternoon.

We did watch a 350 plus bull with three cows but he was running up the other side of the mountain we were on and was over a half mile away... other than that was kinda quiet.

Oh yeah and havent run into any hunters where we have been and havent seen many trucks at all.

Still kinda hot and has been a bit rainy but looks to be clearing a bit , always tomorrow..

Will keep all of you posted.

Heard 4 bulls talkin last night and he passed on a 320 bull at 10 yards still in velvet partially. Its still a bit warm and the movement is limited. Did see a 370 plus bull first light this morning all by himself headed up the mountain ,.

roflmao! theres only 3 or 4 bulls over 390 and only a handful of 350 to 360 bulls in there. the middle range of bulls has been wiped out and u will be very hard pressed to do much better than 350 imho. hope u do get a better one though.
