Anyone else having problems opening threads or is it just my computer? I have had success opening about 1/3rd of the the posts I want to look at. It just keeps timing out on me. Anyone else?

AOL is a pain. I use it to and have trouble quite often. And, many of the people who have trouble are using AOL. I'm kind of stuck with it for the email, but I use a stand alone IE or Netscape browser to access the Internet.

Try downloading Internet Explorer and just using that to surf the Internet and use AOL for checking email.

I think they have something going on with their servers that not only makes everything slower, but also causes some things not to work at all.

Thanks, Brian. It is a pain. I have had AOL so long all my favorites are saved in there. I wish there was a way I could transfer all my stuff to IE.

I had to help someone transfer AOL favorites awhile back and it wasn't too bad. I would definitely say that those of you who have AOL the problem is probably AOL and you neeed to do like Founder said and use explorer, netscape, or Mozilla. AOL will not accept certain encryptions or html coding. For example I couldn't access my bank account from AOL. Anyways this link will show how to do it. It looks similair to the way I did it. http://www.cvc.net/hp/movefavs.html

Or you can use this link that will actually do the transfer for you http://www.linkagogo.com/go/Convert?informat=aol&outformat=netscape

For the person who is having the problems wie explorer I would look at your security settings and revert to medium security.

Lucas,

There are times when you might be viewing a cache thread page. You can hit F5 to reload the page and see the new version. The forum is supposed to reload the page everytime it is viewed, but sometimes it does not work.

Pages are cached on servers all over the world. Some servers, to save bandwidth, will return you one of their cached pages.

If you think there are more posts than what you are seeing, always try hitting F5 to refresh the page.
