No idea if this picture will show up. If not, someone tell me where to email it.

The story on this buck is that it was opening morning of the Utah 05 general deer season. I had a tag and my 15 year old sister in law had a tag. It was just after first light and we were travelling on a dirt road, to the let out spot for a good hike and spot down some cedar/sage draws. Pretty quick we saw this buck was hoping through the sage and then disappeared behind some really tall brush and cedar combo. All we had seen as far as horns go was the top of one of the forks, and thinking it was nothing more than a forky we decided to let the sister in law get out and take a look see. She has never shot a buck and we at least wanted to get her heart thumping. The deer had dipped into a ravine about 100 yards away, and as such we couldn't see it for about 30 seconds. All that time, we were thinking it was a forky. When it emerged from the ravine and started up the side hill, we could see it was better than a forky. The sister in law quickly asked that I get ready and shoot because she was nervous. He stopped, took a look to the right almost dead broadside at about 130, and I put him down. He rolled and kick crawled to within about 50 yards of where I had shot.

We did know this buck was there and had watched him from afar on the archery hunt, we just didn't think we would see him near the road. Sometimes you get lucky, and this was total luck. He is a decent buck and by far the best one I have taken. I am very happy with the mount. Makes my den perfect.

Guess I need help with the photo. Its not a great photo, but I will email if someone can help. Thanks.
