elk bugling

Has anyone in Montana have any info. on whether the elk are talking?????

LAST EDITED ON Sep-06-11 AT 03:37PM (MST)[p]well around Linchon and two great fall's there only talking in the morning, the smaller bull's will be at it full swing. The heard bull's are really quiet, but if you cow call two them quietly they will respond. I got my bull opening morning. He came in at 9 yard's and bugled at me, had to shoot him. Went 2-3 step's and fell over. My first kill with a bow and it couldent get any better. I also got video of him comming in. My dad missed at a bull the next morning.

Nice bull man.... It doesnt get much better than getting one screaming at you from 9 yards away. We heard a couple weak bugles this weekend. I would bet by the middle of next week it will be getting pretty hot and heavy.
