j/k way to get it done!
Congrats to the hunter..

Looks like you got him in a lot easier place than where I seen him...

Very Nice !! We need to hear the story sometime. I drove past both of those trucks saturday ,almost stopped. I guess I should have. But I didn't know it was you guys.
I saw you pulled around in the horse area latter that day. Did he move that far north ?

ya there not the best pics we are saving them for high tops website and my hunter wanted me to show them to john since they chased this bull these are from my cell phone i am going from fishlake to the henrys for a buffalo hunt so havent had a chance to put them on computer bigjohn i will put up the story at a later time like i said im doing this all from cell phone

Well its been an interesting 12 or 13 days it all started a few weeks before the hunt when i found this bull he was out feeding at a quarter after noon we watched him carefully so nobody would see us being he was by a highway and archery was still going
fast forward a little bit a few days before the rifle hunt bigjohn post they are after a stud with really chocolate horns and i immediatly knew it was him and hence the name willy wonka
friday before the hunt just like other days he fed out just after noon my hunter and i watched from a distance. i told him we could start hunting him now if he wanted since he did have the fishlake premium.we elected not to
saturday morning it rained and rained and when you thought it was done it rained somemore well the rain lifted and bugles thundered across the valley an instantly i knew it was the bull we after and he was north of us we hopped in th truck and moved north we got to where we were going to start hiking and i looke up and there he was he had us pinned as we were crossing a big flat at 700+ yards away we backed out and watched him dissapear into a thick dark nasty draw
saturday no action people were onto us as they seen the bull from the highway that morning and move in on top of us nothing came out that night other then bugles
sunday morning fogged in crap oh well what do we do we went hunting we got into position just befor light and as we were getting closer i could start picking out willys bugle i called backed with soft cow calls and as we were getting to where we wer going i coul tell he was close and still near the bottom of the hill
i will stop there for now got to go to work

Very nice, Hurry up at work and get back here and finish the story.

"I have found if you go the extra mile it's Never crowded".

Muley mitch johns daughter called him willie wonka cause of his dark horns i just called him a good bull and my client called him the nooner bull cause he would always leave his cows around noon and go in search for a hot cow

So back to the sunday morning as we were coming over the ridge in the flat we were just getting set up cause i could hear the bull it soundwd like he was raking his horns in the brush it was fogged in an we couldnt see anything as we sat down i could hear somthing not to far off and the fog was lifting a little so i put up my binos and to my surprise i could see the shape of a bull wallowing 300 yards out it was still to dark to tell how big he was or even if he was a shooter well luck was on our side the fog burned off just enough i could tell he was a shooter but at this point i did not know which bull it was i told my hunter to get ready this is a bull i think we should take so he got on the sticks and got ready as we were sitting there waiting for ut to get to shooting light the bull got better well as it got lighter the bull started for the trees i told rod to get ready and go ahead a take him it seemed like forever but the bull was walking away and still no shot i looked over at rod and said take him next chance i got back in the scope heard my hunter let out a deep breath and boom the bull dropped instantly right in his tracks and not 2 min after the shot the fog rolled back in as we started over to the bull and got closer and closer i could tell that we had killed the bull we were after we got everything taken care of and taped out and he ended up scoring 358 he has 65 inches of mass 53 in beams and is 45 wide

That's an impressive bull Taylor, I would be turning flips if I had killed him. Glad your hunter got a good one and I know he's happy as can be.
