Hunting in Mexico

Question for some of you guides or people that hunt down there in January. Does anybody use a bow? I know the style is a little different down there as far as hunting from vehicals and things but I don't remember ever seeing a Mule Deer killed with a bow. I have seen a few Coues deer killed with a bow down there.

I've seen a few in mag's that were taken with bows and when I say few I mean like 2 or 3.

I've never hunted there so I dont know much about it.

You can hunt however you want. There are a few "Bow only" ranches in Sonora and Chihuahua but for the most part since the bucks are rutting and running all over during january, its a bit harder to spot/stalk with bow in hand and the deer going crazy. Sitting water would be a decent option, but for the price you pay for the muley hunts, I would bring a gun as well as my bow........... Thanks, Allen Taylor......
