These two bulls were a few hundred yards from each other just off a CLOSED wheeler trail. The hunters were good enough to drive their wheelers into the area to retrieve the elk but were too lazy to pack out their pop cans! WTF? Both bulls were above Mule Flat.

I call BS. There is no way that can is sitting inside the ribcage like that after all the birds and yotes have had their way with it. The can is bright and shiny in both pictures.

Looks like you want to stir the pot.

Zigga finally retrieved his bull...

Why would I be stirring the pot??? The pics were taken opening day of the muzzy hunt. The pics show exactly how I found the carcasses and cans. There were 4 wheeler tracks right down to the elk. I wish I had pics of the wheeler tracks so you could critic those too!

I'm sure the cans were dropped there by someone else after the kills. Some one must have happened upon them like you did and just dropped their garbage. Thats my guess anyway....

Yea, I am with slamdunk on this one. The cans look too new.

Compromise, hell! ... If freedom is right and tyranny is wrong, why should those who believe in freedom treat it as if it were a roll of bologna to be bartered a slice at a time?

Why did You post this?

Do you have nothing else better to do?

Regardless if you did it or not I hope you picked them up.

Oh come on guys where are all the "you are the anti-christ promoter of anti-hunting propaganda!" comments????? lol.

Sucks seeing garbage around, hope you picked it up Horse.

Note to self, don't get into ethics arguments with horse creek. Talk about knit picking!

Rofl, i was expecting to see a ground checked elk with all its meat rotted off. I open this thread to see this? Why don't you go look at the pics of my dutton hunt where we left a bottle of muscle milk on my bulls butt in the photos. Sounds like you would love to critique that. You need to get a life dude. Holy crap man. Your like the cop that gives seat belt tickets when theres real crime goin on out there. We got everyday slob hunters all over the place and your griping about what exactly?

I feel sorry for your kids. poor little rugrats probably lost an arm or two if scooby doo wasn't put back in the correct toy box huh?

LAST EDITED ON Oct-05-11 AT 03:28PM (MST)[p]Looks like it was there well after the kill.

I would like to add my .02 to this thread though. I have hunted all over the west and have never seen as much trash as when I hunted the Dutton. It seemed like if you hiked a mile you would see at least 1 or 2 pop cans/water bottles. It was unreal the amount of that stuff I ran across both on trail and off trail.

Try hunting Unit 51 in NM, You would cry.

"I have found if you go the extra mile it's Never crowded".
