Just still so excited about our Colorado Bulls I had to share another picture. Here is a picture of Cody's bull and my bull together. Both will end up around 330 score wise but in my mind they are 400 inch bulls. Finally nice to have dream come together. The boy in the picture is my son. He didn't fall to far from the tree!!!!!

Again, nice work Curtis. And that 5x is awesome. I'd stick that one in many of the Utah LE units!

Great work guys! My dad and I were hunting on the Diamond Mountain muzzleloader hunt and they showed us pictures of your bulls. It was Larry Christensen. Good to see you guys were successful and got some great bulls. That 5 point is ridiculous!

Sweet pic Curtis!!!

Looks like jr thinks Cody's is the one though :)

Cheers,
Pete

Yup, they look like 400" bulls to me too.

I'm happy for your success regardless of the dang score.

We all talk about score but I think most hunters are not as hung up on the score as one would think. Big is... well... big.

Congratulations,
Zeke

Congrats, and who cares what they score. Both are beautiful bulls. If its your tag and you like the looks of the bull, pull the trigger. I'll bet there's only a handfull of MM junkies who would pass on either of these in Colorado and I'm pretty sure that I'm not any of them. Wow, that's a heavy 5-point. And the #3s on the 6x7 sure start low on the horn, and heavy.

OTC or draw tags? As of this year, I'm now looking at surrounding states, Especially Colorado OTC archery elk if I ever want to hunt big bulls again in my lifetime. If it takes the same amount of points plus the 5 year waiting period, I'm looking at another 21 years for my next Utah LE Elk Tag. And I'll be in my 50s :)
