Elkhorn Outfitters, Craig CO

A friend of mine called tonight and asked about Elkhorn Outfitters out of Craig. I don't know the specifics, but this is a Ranching for Wildlife outfit and is on a big ranch north of Craig. I'm sure there are lots of deer, but am wondering if any of you know about trophy quality or otehr details. Any info will be appreciated.

Are you from Colorado? I think the Ranching for Wildlife tags are only for residents now.

A NR can buy a Ranching for Wildlife hunt. They just cannot apply for the public tag through the drawing.

i've hunted with ##### and cheryl dodds for deer and elk. it was with them that i harvested my first elk, and deer. i've never hunted bucks or bulls, just cows and does...this is because we used to be able to get those tags on second choice. we never saw any huge bulls or huge bucks up there, but tons of animals. you oughta be able to kill a respectable deer with some work. also, ##### and cheryl really cater to their hunters, they try and work with you the best they can in order for you to be happy and have a good hunt. good luck huntin.
