Here are the Facts!
Forrest Atkinson Wildlife Artistry 3048 South 2800 East, Franklin Idaho 83237 mounted my deer the first time. Here is a photo of his handy work.
You can make your own conclusions as to the quality of work done. I will give you the facts as to what he did to my mount.
For those that don't know what to look for in a good mount look at this mount and use it as an example of what not to do.
The ear buts are too short left one is 1? and right one is almost 2? off.
The ears are too low.
The eyes are two far apart.
There is too much clay around the eyes.
The eyes are sunk into all that clay two far.
The front of the neck is too flat and you can see wrinkles in the hide.
The arm pit hair on the right leg is pulled around and is on the outside of the leg.
The black patch of hair in-between the two front legs is pulled two the right side of mount and is not centered.
The arrow hole didn't even get sewed up and you can see it.
There were tee pins left in the hide still on the mount.
The horns are mounted too far away from the eye sockets and could be pointed two far forward.
There is pink paint in the ears.
The ears were not properly skinned out and part of the back of the ear is on the inside of the left ear.
The nose hair had been painted over and needed to be brushed off.
The lip on one side isn't properly tucked in.
I personally think his nose looks like a doe.
I wanted to cry when I hung it on the wall. I was so mad I called up a Taxidermist the next day I had been using for 2 years while Forest was mounting my deer literally. His name is Tyler Anderson. His business is called Tyler Anderson taxidermy and is located at 947 east 10825 south in Sandy Utah. Tyler fixed every thing while still using my original cape. I would recommend Tyler to anyone. Here is a photo finally after 2 and half years of pure misery.
PLEASE TELL TYLER AND I WHAT YOU THINK OF HIS WORK.
