Wyoming unit 117

has anyone hunted unit 117 in Wyoming. and had success? I will be applying there this year.

I'm a little curious about that one too. Must not be super, though, because it's a pretty easy draw (comparatively) for non-residents.

Looks like half (50%)is Wilderness and that means you as a NR would need a Outfitter. The rest might be private, better get a good Nat. Forest Map and BLM maps to make sure before applying I would think.

The unit is 100% national forest and yes 1/2 wilderness. I hear lots of bears too. I am going to give the special license a try.......I do know a lot of residents like that unit but i think it might be because of the roads and not the monster mule deer........we will see..
