Not the biggest on the mountain. Hunt started Saturday and we got this guy Monday morning. Seen some good bulls during the cow hunt, but things changed a little. My friend drew the tag as a non-resident with 5 points. This was his first bull. We watched him come up in a clearing after about 30 cows and 4 smaller bulls all within 120 yards of us. We watched this bull for about 3 minutes before he decided to shoot. The bull was about 110 yards in a little clearing. One shot from the 300 ultra with 180 grain Noslers put him down. We about died when we seen how big the body was when we got there. About 3 1/2 hours of total work. Wasn't too bad. I know he had higher expectations, but I think it's still a good lookin bull.

nice bull, is his G1 broken or did it grow like that, the other point is blocking the veiw of it....

Yeah,it's broken. It's also alot thicker than the other one. The third on that same side is a little busted at the tip also.

That's his first bull ever, and you're a little worried that he could have done better? You're kidding, right? That's one heck of a nice bull, first bull or tenth.

good looking bull, he has the look of a fighter with the broke tines. I would shoot him too.

Thats a great bull. You should even be more excited drawing with 5 points has a Non resident. Hell Im a non resident and have 17 points and still trying to draw. Is that the late season in the Ely area??
