I couldn't keep it to myself any longer. Dammed if I didn't get the cover shot for the latest edition of the MDF mag.

I thought it turned out great, what do ya think?

The cover looks great. Are any of the other pictures inside yours? I picked a copy of it at the Sportsmans show and still need to read it.

I saw a Puget Sound MDF chapter booth at the show and am thinking of joining.

I received my issue last week and saw the picture but didn't bother to look and see who took the picture. Congrats to you on the cover shot picture. Guess I better look closer from now on.

100,000 Utah deer a year killed by mnt. lions.... am I reading that article wrong?

"100,000 deer killed by lions". I don't know about Utah but that's about right for Nevada. 2,000 lions times an average of 50 deer killed a year per lion equals 100,000 lion killed deer. That's in the ballpark.

Congrats on a great cover picture. And the whole magazine is a really good one. I really like the articles included in the latest one. There are just too many trees growing in the West for mule deer. Good, thought-provoking articles.

Thanks to everyone for all the back slaps. I was pretty happy to say the least when David Virostko gave me the news. Sure glad everyone liked the shot. I'm waiting to recieve a copy in the mail and because it's my first cover shot I guess I'll have to frame this one. Thanks again to everyone along with David and MDF.
