Utah success ?

We had a great hunt on the Oak Creek South unit. We saw over 8 bulls opening morning and settled on these two. After being told to turn our tags in numerous times we decided to take our chances on the hunt and we're glad that we did. We weren't expecting to shoot monster bulls but wanted a chance at some decent bulls, to see some different country and to enjoy a late season hunt. We were glassing bulls all morning opening morning and found the first bull in the pictures over a mile away bedded in some cedars. We snuck in to just over 100 yards and shot him out of his bed, the shot was a bit high and only caught one lung. We tracked the bull for 3 miles and finally caught him going up the side of a canyon and were able to put a finishing shot into him. We had him packed out and back to camp by noon. After some lunch, we headed back out and glassed up 3 other bulls about 2 miles down in a canyon, we decided we needed a closer look and after a stalk to within 40 yards of them we decided the one had some pretty cool character. We had the second one on the ground by 4:00 that afternoon. Again, not the biggest bulls in the state but much better than we expected after all that we had read and been told about this unit. Big thanks to the biologist over that unit, very helpful and informative! Sorry for the pics, they were taken from a cell phone and may not be very clear.
