I just wanted to get on here and let you all know that the story of my bull will be in dec issue of Trophy Hunter Mag I just had it measured for Boone and Crocket and it scores 404 gross and nets 391 5/8 non-typical it will be the # 21 bull for the state and 202 all time bull. It was an amazing hunt and great times with my friend. I will post the story here after Mag hits the market.

First of all, CONGRATS on a great bull!!!!!!!!!!!!

We chased a bull around on the Book Cliffs in 2010 that was built alot like the one you got.

Is this by chance a Books bull?

I don't think there is any other quality
so essential to success of any kind as the
quality of perseverance. It overcomes
almost everything, even nature.

Congratulations!!!...Absolutely Awesome Bull!...

Rusty told me about this bull while he was measuring my Bull!

Great Photos!

This bull is non-typical cuz of all the devil tines those are not typical and he scored better as a non-typical all in all he's the biggest thing I'll kill, and Kevin your bull is great as well I saw pics of it the next day congrats on that great animal

Question!

Devil tines? Is that the bumps on top of the skull?
Would the score be a lot less being scored typical?

Thanks Joe.

The devil tines are what you see on his G-1's and yes when we scored him as a typical bull he was a lot less you can't count those tines and one of them could not be counted at all I lost 3 inches there, his mains were 55 and 551/2

Congratulations on an awesome bull! How much are you talking difference between typ/non-typ?. Maybe 8-10 inches? I can't really tell by the pic. To me, that bull is more accurately described as a "typical". If you were to tell me you have a 391 net non typical, that is not what I picture in my head. To me, a 380 plus net typical seems "better/bigger" than a 391 net non typical. But hey, thats just me! Again, AWESOME BULL!

From what I was told he was 369 typical I am thinking about having another person measuring it and I will have SCI as well I like them better anyways

bull would never be entered officialy as a non typ..a percentage of the score has to be in abnormal growths..this bull has almost none.

He's an absolute monster and I'm not a scorer and don't know what officially constitutes a non from a typical, but I don't see how he could be considered for official scoring in the nontypical category either. Who cares!!!
