172. Any official scorers? How do you score H1 and H2 with a buck that does'nt have brow tines? Do you have 3 mass measurements or 4? Thanks.

Not very massive but should score a little better than most here are thinking. Very good fronts, good inside spread credit, good 2's, I think he will gross 180".

I think he'll hit the 180" mark... Lets go with 180 1/2" gross.

Boy some of you guys are good. This buck does not have G1's so his H1 and H2 are taken at the smallest place between the burr and the first point, the G2. I added the side shot of the buck to try to throw you guys off. This buck has a 30" outside spread. His main beem length is only 21 1/8. His main beam is short. His inside spread is 22" so he only gets 21 1/8 for a spread credit. He didn't have much for mass a total of 30 1/4" but if he would have had only 1" G1's he would have gained about 5" on the total score from the G1's and H1's.
Drum roll please. Gross this buck measures 171 7/8 His net score is 168 7/8.
Like I said some of you guys did very well. When I first saw this buck I figured him for a 180 class buck. I over guessed him a little through the spotting scope. I would shoot him again though. I was happy with him. Ron

Idahoron, That is why my guess was 172, because no g1's. It makes a difference for sure. I saw a couple nice bucks like the fine one you shot on the paunsaugunt last fall with no brow tines. Still a nice buck! Congrats.
