Top 40 B&C Bulls (pics)

That top fourty list would be much different if I entered all my bull elks I kill. Some real nice bulls in there tho!

One thing that seems VERY interesting, at least to me, is that MOST of the typical bulls in the top twenty were killed more than 40 years ago, while MOST of the nontypical bulls were killed within the past 40 years and a large percentage within the last 20 years.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

LAST EDITED ON Jan-27-12 AT 09:39AM (MST)[p]i like #13 typical, just got to drive to the buffalo bill historical center to see him. what a stud of a bull

Travis---Haven't you figured out yet that this ass****** is a young troll? bull elks, LOL! He's either young and dumb or a dumb old troll and hasn't made a common sense post since he came on the Forums!!!

I remember seeing the John Plute bull (#2 typical) in that Crested Butte, CO hardware store back in the early 1990s. It was considered the No. 1 bull in the world at the time. Don't know why the Outdoor Life people used such a horrible picture - dosen't come close to doing it justice.

My hunting spot is so secret, not even the elk have found it yet.

I think the most amazing story of all is for the #4 non-typical. I had never heard that one before.
