Certainly not the biggest bull I have ever taken but this is the First bull I have taken with my son, and because of that, it is my best bull to date!

We had a heck of a year, We were lucky enough to take this cow on the last night of the hunt after an extremely hard forced march to the top of the mountain. I can't even begin to tell you how proud I am of my son, he had a heck of a year for his first year in the elk woods.

My first bull. Utah, Public Land, DIY - well, with a lot of help from my Bro.

Last morning of the hunt, spotted him across the canyon, started calling, came in on a rope, dead 15 minutes after first seeing him. Happened so quick it was crazy!

Not a huge bull but one that will mean a lot to me. The first one always holds a special place, especially because we had hunted a good 15 days that year before it finally paid off.

Here is my first bull taken in UT in the Oakcreek unit. I was stoked to take this bull on the last morning. I was stalking in on a spike to fill my tag when this guy showed up!! Freaking awesome way to end the hunt! The smile says it all!
