Coastal CA-Laguna Deer

I just got back from a Laguna Beach/Orange County company paid trip and noticed a huge block of land (3500+acres) boardering Laguna Beach......and the deer are everywhere.....Does anybody have any insight on southern CA coastal deer hunting? There is no lack of greenies and tree huggers in that area, so I'd imagine the hunting opportunities are slim! The S. CA beach areas have some serious deer #'s!

Just don't get caught! That is a park ran by the Nature Conservancy! The hippies, and animal rights people will flog you with wet sea kelp, and make you take mud baths while singing kum by yah!

Truth is.... it's all owned by the Irvine company... there is some hunting... but ONLY FOR THE CHOSEN FEW

Actually the Irvine company sold it to Laguna Beach in a Bond measure about 10 years ago, and it is run by the conservancy. FYI The Irvine Company wanted to build on other properties and to mitigate potential environmental problems sold that property.

thanks Dan,

for some reason, i had always thought that Irvine never sold land, only leased land like 100 year lease.. been a long that i've been to OC,
