There will be a meeting may 29 at the roberts commons at casper college at 6:00 pm.
This will be one of the public meetings to discuss the new proposed land swap with Russel Gordy and the Lone Star ranch.
The land to be disscussed will be an area of the Deer Creek range in exchange for the Boston Davis ranch that the Lone Star aquired last December.
We are asking that the Sportsmen of wyoming and other users of public land to come and voice their opinion on this trade.
We are trying to get negotiations between the state land board and the Lone Star Ranch to make the trade fair and equal for all.So far we have been given the ranch's version of the map, we had some core issues with thier version of the map. We redrew the map to include some areas around the bell draw area in question and returned it. Lone star's lawer said give him ten days and they will respond. The ten days expired wed the 16 of may, still no responce.
