Here is a buck we got in Idaho this year. I don't post too much anymore because all of the criticism gets a bit old, however, I thought some of you guys would like to see this beauty. He is one of the more symmetrical bucks I've seen in a long time. Scores real well too.
Also, before somebody starts blasting me for hunting with 4-wheelers, let me say that we obeyed all the laws and parked at the end of the roadway, hiked 2 1/2 miles to where we shot this deer. We packed him out, on our backs like we always do. We then proceeded to load the quarters and the head on our 4-wheelers to drive the rest of the way back to our trucks.

Hi Shelby

Nice buck! Thanks for the picture, You don't need to Justify yourself. I ride a 4 wheeler sometime just to get where I need to start walking then walk 3 even 5 miles then bone them out pack them on my back. I use the 4 wheeler to save gas. we made be miles from a station. What zone did you hunt if you don't mind saying, draw or over the counter? I'm thinking about Idaho this year. I have no ponit, I drew everything last year, even had to send the wife and one kid to Italy so I could go on them all, Might not have enough money for this year.

Thanks Tim

Great buck.....
I second the "no need to justify yourself" quote from the previous poster. You hunted hard and were rewarded for your effort!
Thanks for posting.........any story to go along with the pics?

Shelbys,

Nice buck. Congrats! You were definitely rewarded for your work. Great buck. Looks like unit 45 to me. Am I right? A story would be great to go with the pic's though. Come on now.?.?.?....

LAST EDITED ON Mar-31-07 AT 08:33AM (MST)[p]That must be Unit 45. That looks just like a buck we MISTAKENLY passed on. It was just a little too far for my son to shoot at on Opening day. He is only 12 and ended up with a great buck for a kid that age, but nothing like the one we passed up on the opener.

Get buck.
A few weeks ago I sent you a PM with my email adress so you could send me some pictures of bucks you and your family killed in Idaho. Did you get my PM? You can find my email address by clicking on the icon next to my username. I'll return the favor and email you a couple pictures of a 2005 Idaho buck I doubt you have seen.

Both of those are very nice bucks. Too bad he is hiding his smile because I bet there is one under there. Gorgeous buck. He doesn't look like one you'd just throw over your shoulder and haul out either.

Shelby,
Awesome buck man-congrats!! I haven't talked to you in a while-hope things are going good for you!!

If you have other pics and don't want to put them up here, shoot me an email ([email protected])
